Tennyson Electric began in a home office, built from one man’s belief that opportunity can change the course of a life. Mike Tennyson didn’t start with major contracts or large crews—he started with intention, integrity, and the hope of creating a company where people could build a future. Thirty years later, that vision holds true.

Tennyson Electric has grown into a trusted leader for some of the Bay Area’s largest and most complex underground electrical projects, known for professionalism, resilience, teamwork, and the ability to deliver even when conditions shift. The culture blends humility with excellence: employees stay for years—sometimes decades; new hires grow into leadership; teams take pride in each other’s wins; and clients return to Tennyson even when they aren’t the lowest bidder.
